Lockdown and the restrictions caused by the pandemic mean that some of the usual ways in which our supporters help are sadly no longer feasible. This is frustrating for everyone as it is without a doubt a time when the Nightshelter and our residents really need support. Fortunately, there are plenty of other ways in which people can still help us in our fight against homelessness even from the confines of lockdown.

Get creative
Just like you, our residents are faced with staring at the same walls for quite some time. Perhaps you or your children would like to draw a picture, write a poem or scribble some words of encouragement which we can display in the Nightshelter.
You can email your finished piece to admin@winchesterbeacon.org.uk or send it via post to Winchester Churches Nightshelter, 20B Jewry Street, Winchester SO23 8RZ.
Amazon Smile
With most shops now closed for the foreseeable, many people are relying on online shopping.
If you are someone who shops with Amazon, did you know that if you order via their Amazon Smile website then you have the option to choose to support the Nightshelter? And it doesn’t add anything to your bill because it is Amazon Smile that makes the donation.
Easyfundraising
