Our homes have become our everything over recent months. They have been a place to learn, work, relax and stay safe. Many people may be desperately wishing for the day to come when they can leave their homes but for other people, all they long for is a home to remain in.
Can you help to spread a little love this Valentine’s Day and send a Hug of Hope to people experiencing homelessness in Winchester? A donation of £10 could provide someone who is homelessness with a bed for the night, a home-cooked meal, toiletries, clothes, breakfast and a welcoming and supportive place to keep safe. Or, for about the price of a Valentine’s card, treat someone to a hot drink with a donation of £2.
At the Nightshelter, we aim to inspire hope and transform lives. Far more than just a place to stay, we support our residents on a one-to-one basis to work out with them what it is they need to help them to move forward to a more stable place. From a place of hope great things can grow.
You can be part of someone’s journey this Valentine’s Day. Whatever amount you are able to donate, you will be sending a message of hope and spreading love during challenging times.
