Siblings, Henry and Ben, discovered first hand that fundraising can be fun and rewarding.
The inspiring young duo worked together as a team to bake and sell chocolate brownies to raise funds for The Winchester Beacon. Together they managed to raise a brilliant £60.05.
We were delighted to meet the kind pair when they dropped by to hand over the money they had raised.
Nancy, PR and Communications Officer at The Winchester Beacon commented:
“It is so encouraging to see young people choosing to make such a positive difference in their community. There is so much to learn and be gained from fundraising, it is a great activity for young people to get involved in. It teaches teamwork, communication, tenacity and allows young people to see first hand the positive impact they can have on the world around them. We are so touched by the efforts of Henry and Ben and feel confident they are going to go on to help many others in the future.”
