Would you like the opportunity to have a real impact on the lives of people experiencing homelessness in the Winchester area? We are looking for forward thinking and business minded individuals who can support The Winchester Beacon during an exciting time in our development.
We are seeking volunteers with a knowledge of governance, marketing, income generation, property management, HR, strategic development and/or business planning to join our board of trustees. We are also looking for volunteers with a legal background or experience with GDPR and data management.
We are keen to hear from applicants drawn from a diverse range of backgrounds, to take The Winchester Beacon forward in times of financial hardship and increasing need for our services. We welcome applications from those with lived experience and also direct experience of Board level governance and from candidates with the relevant skills and expertise to undertake the role effectively. We welcome applications from those who have an interest in, and understanding of the trends, issues, and environment regarding homelessness, and who are eligible to act as a charity trustee.
