For those experiencing homelessness at Christmas, the festive season can be an incredibly lonely and difficult time. While families gather in warm homes to celebrate, many people facing homelessness can feel forgotten and isolated.
At The Winchester Beacon, we are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and supportive home for 22 people experiencing homelessness in Hampshire over Christmas and beyond.
More than just a place to stay
Our residents will not only have somewhere warm and secure to stay, but they will also receive specialist one-to-one support to help them rebuild their lives and break the cycle of homelessness for good.
On Christmas Day, our dedicated staff and volunteers will work hard to make the day as special and meaningful as possible. While we respect that not all residents may feel festive, those at our main site will have the opportunity to enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner cooked by volunteers, and we will ensure everyone receives gifts.
