On Tuesday 20th February, guests gathered at The South Downs Social for a fun evening of cocktail-making. The sell-out fundraising event was devised and hosted by a group of Event Management students from the University of Winchester.
During the evening, guests were guided in the making of three cocktails by Ben from Boozy Bar. It wasn’t just about making, the guests were able to sample their creations including mocktails for the drivers and non-drinkers.
“We would like to thank and congratulate the students on tonight’s event, it is great to see people having so much fun whilst raising money to support our residents”, commented Nancy Judge, Senior Communications and PR Officer. “The students have really impressed me throughout the planning of the event with their professionalism and their attention to detail. They have demonstrated so many fantastic skills and worked brilliantly as a team, any employer would be lucky to have them”.
