Have you ever wondered what life is like inside a Nightshelter? Would you like to find out more about the support available for homeless people in Winchester?
We are opening the doors of the Nightshelter, based in central Winchester, so that members of the public can drop in and find out more about the vital work we do with Hampshire’s homeless. Come and meet staff, residents and volunteers and see for yourself what it’s really like to stay at the Nightshelter and how our support services help hundreds of people escape homelessness each year.
Our residents will also be showcasing their cookery skills with a wide range of tasty cakes and savoury snacks, baked during Nightshelter cookery workshops, that will be available free of charge on the day at our pop-up cafe.
Come along and have your perceptions of homelessness challenged!
