We are always keen to build relationships with schools, colleges and universities.
Pupils and students can make a valuable contribution to life at The Winchester Beacon. Depending on your age you may want to:
- Wash up after the evening meal (over 18’s).
- Help redecorate or clean The Winchester Beacon.
- Fundraise for us or make The Winchester Beacon your charity of the year. You could organise fundraising events such as a charity gig, cake sale, quiz night, dress down day or ‘worst dressed’ competition.
- Focus on homelessness/The Winchester Beacon as the subject for a project or course work
We are always happy to come and visit schools, colleges and universities and present a short talk about The Winchester Beacon and our work. Alternatively, if you are unable to welcome visitors on site at present then we can send through materials and information for you to use to talk about The Winchester Beacon. Sadly, we are unable to welcome visitors onsite during the pandemic. If you plan to organise a fundraising activity, we can help with fundraising materials for your event.
